About The Position

Rosemount Senior Living at the Steeple Center, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook/Chef. The community is a 92-unit, apartment-style residence providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Cook/Chef prepares food according to resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations, helping create a warm, welcoming environment focused on dignity, engagement, and personalized support for residents.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals according to planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature-control procedures.
• Direct and assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check trays for accuracy and compliance with menu, dietary requirements, and resident preferences.
• Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed according to established procedures.
