Requirements

You have a talent for preparing and caring for every detail in our sophisticated kitchen and hotel.
Great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
Comfortably communicate in English.
Attention to detail is critical for this role.
Flexibility is required as our hotels operate nonstop.
Ability to talk and hear.
Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours.
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to withstand all weather conditions as the environment can be very warm.
Required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Nice To Haves

Previous luxury culinary experience or culinary schooling is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Cooking, while considering portion control to ensure consistency.
Washing, cutting and seasoning ingredients in preparation for cooking.
Plating and garnishing all dishes to ensure guests receive the best experience.
Washing and sanitizing the kitchen to prepare for the next shifts and keep to the Food and Health Safety standards.
Working on multiple stations and lending a helping hand.
Fulfilling special requests involving dietary restrictions, allergies, and special occasions.
