COO

Norbert HealthBrooklyn, NY
Onsite

About The Position

Norbert Health is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead the company's next chapter alongside CEO Alexandre Winter. This senior leadership role will have full ownership of the commercial, operational, and regulatory engine, from go-to-market execution to clinical deployment to team development. The COO will set the pace, build the processes, and deliver the results to turn Series B ambitions into reality. The COO will run the operational side of the business end-to-end, while the CEO focuses on technology, R&D, product, and investor relationships. The company is looking for a strong, decisive operator who holds the organization to a high bar and knows how to scale a team. This position can be considered a late co-founder opportunity, and a board seat will be considered as well.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare, healthtech, or medical devices — ideally in a scaling startup.
  • Demonstrated track record in sales leadership and go-to-market execution.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, and commercial functions.
  • Strong operational discipline: you set KPIs, build processes, and hold teams accountable.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through — you say what you'll do and do what you say.
  • Comfortable in both strategic conversations and rolling up your sleeves on execution.
  • NYC-based or willing to spend 50%+ of time in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across healthcare operators and systems.
  • Identify and pursue new channels, geographies, and facility types for Norbert deployment.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at the operator and system level.
  • Own brand positioning, content strategy, and PR in coordination with the CEO.
  • Build the marketing function from early-stage infrastructure toward a scalable engine.
  • Oversee clinical deployment strategy and ensure Norbert integrations run smoothly across facilities.
  • Hire and mentor clinical leads; ensure clinical function is resourced and accountable.
  • Own implementation, customer success, and account management functions.
  • Build and enforce operational processes, accountability systems, and KPIs across teams.
  • Own the regulatory strategy and compliance operations, including billing, certifications, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Directly mentor and manage senior direct reports across sales, clinical, and ops.
  • Build a culture of follow-through, transparency, and high standards.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with stage and experience.
  • Very meaningful equity stake structured to align the importance of this position.
  • This can be considered a late-cofounder package.
