Assists in the management of equipment for a mid to large volume facility. Implements processes to maintain, repair, and improve equipment and systems to meet production goals and quality expectations. Delivers preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts appropriation, and inventory control.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
- GED or High school Diploma preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a top-level specialist to deliver technical support for the Maintenance area under limited supervision, referring deviations from standard practices to managers.
- Executes tasks that may not be routine and are crucial to the progression and completion of technical support requests.
- Establishes preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for all systems and equipment.
- Assesses machinery regularly for signs of wear and defects.
- Ensures adherence to all regulatory and organizational safety guidelines.
- Conducts most complex daily work orders.
- Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
