Conveyor Man
About The Position
This role involves operating a water truck, conducting plant inspections, and assisting with plant start-up. The Conveyor Man is responsible for maintaining the quarry, ensuring it is organized, and strictly adhering to company and MSHA safety procedures. This position requires bringing equipment or safety issues to the attention of the Foreman or Safety Director, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, and reporting any defects or needed repairs to a supervisor. Additionally, the role includes cleaning equipment, preparing work sites, digging/shoveling, performing basic maintenance on equipment, and potentially assisting other workers with specialized tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail

- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Ability to follow company policies and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Must have a valid Driver's License
