About The Position
This role is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing of Clean Room flat bags and pouches using machines to form, seal, and wind products. The operator will ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Ability to operate bag making machines.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners.
- Ability to scan inventory labels accurately.
- Skill in setting up flat bag machines according to work order specifications.
- Attention to detail to ensure product quality.
- Ability to monitor production runs and perform quality checks.
- Understanding of web handling techniques, tension control, and troubleshooting.
- Capability to change master rolls.
- Experience in packaging and labeling products.
- Adherence to cleanroom gowning specifications for ISO compliance.
- Ability to maintain a clean work area.
- Proficiency in operating touch screen computers for order processing and labeling.
- Willingness to be cross-trained on all flat bag machines.

- Experience with print quality checks (tear notch locations and repeat).
Responsibilities
- Operate bag making machines to complete customer orders in accordance with detailed specifications.
- Use RF scanner when necessary to scan material.
- Scan correct inventory label into system for inventory traceability (inbound and outbound material in clean rooms).
- Setup flat bag machines according to work order specifications.
- Ensure quality of bags meet customer expectations.
- Keep constant watch over production run process to ensure seal integrity, bag dimensions, print quality, and absence of foreign material.
- Maintain integrity of material through web handling techniques, including tension control and troubleshooting.
- Change master rolls as needed.
- Prepare, package, and label products in cartons.
- Follow all applicable gowning specifications for ISO cleanroom compliance.
- Keep work area and surrounding area clean.
- Operate touch screen computer to complete orders, print labels, and assess time to jobs.
- Be cross-trained on all flat bag machines.
- Perform various duties as assigned by supervisor.
