About The Position

The Converting Operator C produces quality edge seals and/or saw cuts on trim boards while maintaining converting equipment. The role involves training on, operating, and maintaining converting machinery to maximize customer satisfaction. The position is based in a manufacturing environment and requires dependable attendance, communication, safe work practices, and the ability to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of Converting Operations experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Ability to effectively manage job-related stress and foster productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Produce a good-quality edge seal and/or saw cut for each trim board.
• Train on, operate, and maintain converting machinery and equipment.
• Promote safe equipment use and follow plant safety rules.
• Coordinate with maintenance, as instructed, to minimize repair time for converting equipment.
• Keep the work area clean at all times.
• Complete all required reports.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and work outside the regular schedule as required.
• Manage job-related stress and interact productively with others in the workplace.
