Converting Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position
We're hiring a Converting Operator to join our production team! In this role, you'll run and monitor machines, keep production moving, and help ensure our products meet quality and safety standards. This is a second shift position, working from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED Required.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Prior experience with coating, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices.
- Perform general set-up of machines.
- Prepare materials for the production process.
- Load and unload material from the machine.
- Assist in monitoring the operation of the machine.
- Track and label finished products manually and electronically.
- Communicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues.
- Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams.
- Check products throughout the shift to make sure they meet company quality standards.
- Follow all safety and EHS policies to keep yourself and your team safe on the job.
