About The Position

This role involves deburring face-off parts to support other deburring tasks. As a Line Puller, you are crucial for maintaining the flow of the production line by pulling parts in a timely and organized manner, enabling the remanufacturing process to begin.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read caliper, indicator gauges, and profilometer.
  • Must make go/no go decisions.
  • Fill out audit forms.
  • Follow required PPE requirements for this job.
  • Parts pulled from the line must be visually inspected for defects.
  • Follow work instructions and do not deviate from them.
  • Ability to use gauges for inspection.
  • Question supervisor or line lead if something is not right.
  • Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking.
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. frequently, 60 lbs. occasionally.
  • Lifting parts above shoulders.
  • Fast pace and repetitive.
  • Must be willing to be trained and audited for safety, quality, production, and 5S.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and examine parts closely for defects to make go, no-go decisions pertaining to the parts quality.
  • Palletize/sort parts by part number correctly and for appropriate subsequent operation (pistons, stators, covers including billet, impellers, turbines, bearings, etc.).
  • Ensure machinery is operating properly and is kept clean.
  • Inspect Lids, inspect inner diameter, lip edge condition, surface finish, and overall cleanliness of part.
  • Make sure production line is fed adequately, in a safe and timely manner.
  • Keep area clean and organized.
  • All other duties as assigned.
