About The Position

This position involves setting up surface grinders to machine sapphire brackets. The operator will be responsible for running surface grinders and CNC production machines, inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications, and reading and understanding drawings to machine parts accordingly. The role also requires the use of micrometers and optical comparators for inspection and making machine adjustments based on measurements. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Machining background a plus
• Experience with micrometers a plus
