The Conventional Facilities Engineer‑in‑Training Program is a structured, multi‑year development program designed to provide broad exposure to the key aspects of conventional Operations and Facilities Engineering at Canadian Natural. The program begins with a one‑year Calgary‑based assignment, followed by two years in a field‑based role supporting our conventional assets. Upon successful completion of the field assignment, you will transition permanently to a Facilities Engineering position in the Calgary office, joining one of our Conventional Facilities teams. Collaboration, creativity, and innovation are cornerstones of our engineering culture. You will work within a multi‑disciplinary team and benefit from both direct and indirect mentorship, enabling strong technical growth and professional development through hands‑on experience and exposure to real‑world operational challenges.
