About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join the Memphis, Tennessee team. The role involves working with HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems in commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, manufacturing sites, and data centers. Candidates with experience in HVAC systems, electronics, and technical troubleshooting are encouraged to apply, with a strong preference for candidates with military experience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry servicing electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, and computer-based diagnostics.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- A solid understanding of HVAC sequences and applications.
Nice To Haves
- Vocational program, Associate degree, or military training in a relevant field.
- Military experience, particularly training in relevant technical fields.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC control and Building Automation Systems.
- Respond to service and warranty calls and provide front-line technical repair.
- Use diagnostic tools and technical expertise to resolve building inefficiencies and recommend system updates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing high-quality service and clear communication.
