About The Position
Controls Technician - Princeton, NJ - Controls Automation Company. This role involves working closely with controls installations and the start-up/termination of equipment and programs. The technician will communicate efficiently with building owners and end users. The company was founded 15 years ago and serves clients in Commercial Office, Healthcare, Military, K-12, Data Centers, Manufacturing/warehouses, Science & Technology, Government, College/University, and Financial Institutions. They handle a mix of Retrofit, Service, and Design-build/New Construction projects, offering services in Building Automation Systems, Security Systems, Lighting Systems, Enterprise Systems/MSI, FED Analytics, Energy Metering, Dashboards & Analytics, Legacy Systems, and Services & Upgrades.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
- Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
- Fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems
- Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts

- Knowledge of controls programming and graphics
