About The Position
Controls Automation Company is seeking a Controls Technician for their operations in Dover, Delaware, serving the Mid to South Delaware region. This role involves working with Building Automation Systems (BAS), security systems, lighting systems, and more across various client sectors including Commercial Office, Healthcare, Military, K-12, Data Centers, Manufacturing/warehouses, Science & Technology, Government, College/University, and Financial Institutions. The company has been in business for 15 years and engages in a mix of Retrofit, Service, and Design-build/New Construction projects.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
- Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
- Fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems
- Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts
- Ability to communicate efficiently with building owners as well as end users

- Knowledge of controls programming and graphics

- Troubleshoot controls BAS systems

- Work closely with controls installations and start-up/termination of equipment and programs
