About The Position

The Controls Technician will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting building automation systems (BAS). This role involves working closely with controls installations, equipment, and programs, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders including building owners, end users, and general contractors. The company has been in business for over 20 years and serves clients in the Government, Municipal, Education, and Commercial sectors, focusing on service, retrofit, and new construction projects. Their services include Building Automation, Energy Management, System Integration, and Maintenance/Service.

Requirements

Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
Knowledge of controls programming
Experience rewriting sequences
Fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems
Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts
Ability to work in a team environment
