About The Position
We are seeking a Controls Technician for our Memphis, TN location. This is an opportunity to join an impressive controls-only company that has been established for over 30 years and has over 100 employees. We specialize in system design & integration, installation, programming, networking, start-up/commissioning, customized projects, preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, and customized maintenance programs for commercial and industrial clients. The role involves a mix of service, retrofit, and new construction projects.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position.
- Tridium N4 certified or experienced.
- Knowledge of communication protocol integration: BACnet, BACtalk, Modbus, etc.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot controls BAS systems.
- Familiarity working with databases.
- Fundamental understanding of installation and testing of BAS systems.

- Ability to perform Project Manager responsibilities – excluding financials.
Responsibilities
- Perform Project Manager responsibilities (excluding financials).
- Manage job from inception to completion.
- Perform point-to-point check-out and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot controls BAS systems.
- Communicate effectively with end users, general contractors, and building owners.
- Install and test BAS systems.
- Program, troubleshoot, and rewrite sequences.
