About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician for our Omaha, Nebraska location. This role is crucial for our Controls-Only Company, focusing on building automation systems. You will be involved in new construction, design-build, retrofits, and controls sequence work across various sectors including healthcare, schools, government, municipal, and education.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position.
- Well-versed in troubleshooting BAS systems.
- Knowledge of controls programming.
- Experience rewriting sequences.
- Fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems.
- Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot controls BAS systems.
- Program and rewrite control sequences.
- Install and test building automation systems.
- Perform commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts.
- Work closely with controls installations and the start-up/termination of equipment and programs.
- Troubleshoot and manipulate currently installed BAS programs.
- Communicate efficiently with building owners and end-users.
