About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our Houston, TX team. If you have a background in HVAC systems, electronics, and technical troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply. We have a strong preference for candidates with military experience. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC control and Building Automation Systems supporting commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, manufacturing sites, and data centers. You will also respond to service and warranty calls, provide front-line technical repair, use diagnostic tools to resolve building inefficiencies, recommend system updates, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry servicing electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
Proficiency with hand/power tools, electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters), and computer-based diagnostics.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of HVAC sequences and applications.

Nice To Haves

A vocational program or Associate degree or Military Training in a relevant field is preferred.
Military experience is highly encouraged.
Military training in relevant technical fields is highly desired.

Responsibilities
