About The Position
We are seeking a Controls Technician for our Indianapolis, IN location. This role involves working with building automation systems (BAS) across various industries including Commercial/Industrial. The company has been established for over 30 years and has over 100 employees. Services include system design & integration, installation, programming, networking, start-up/commissioning, customized projects, preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, and customized maintenance programs. The work involves a mix of service, retrofit, and new construction projects.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
- Tridium N4 certified or experienced
- Knowledge of communication protocol integration: BACnet, LonMark, Modbus, etc.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot controls BAS systems
- Familiarity working with Control databases

- Ability to perform Project Manager responsibilities, minus financials
Responsibilities
- Perform Project Manager responsibilities, minus financials
- Perform point-to-point check-out and commissioning protocols
- Troubleshoot controls BAS systems
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with end users, general contractors, as well as building owners
- Install and test BAS systems
- Program, troubleshoot, and rewrite sequences
