Requirements

Currently working toward a degree or certification in electrical engineering technology, HVAC, automation, controls, or a related field.
Interest in building automation, controls programming, and mechanical systems.
Willingness to work in field environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, or control theory (preferred).

Responsibilities

Learn how to interpret construction plans, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
Assist with receiving materials, tracking quantities received vs. ordered, update the project manager on status, and keep the project assigned shelves organized
Assist with installing sensors, controllers, wiring, and low-voltage devices for HVAC and building automation systems.
Support technicians in configuring and programming control systems based on project requirements.
Help perform system start-up, commissioning tasks, and functional testing.
Troubleshoot basic control issues, wiring problems, and communication faults with supervision.
Document work performed, update system drawings, and record field observations.
Support field teams in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Observe and assist with customer interactions and jobsite coordination.
