Wunderlich-Malec (WM) Engineering is a 100% employee-owned ESOP and one of the largest and most well-established engineering companies in the United States. As an Intern at WM you become part of a company that is: 100% employee-owned company with 40+ years of industry history, a Top 5 Systems Integrator Giant, and an ENR top 500 firm. This internship is geared towards candidates interested in controls and automation engineering with projects involving PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, instrumentation, factory automation, check out support and start-up assistance. You will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects including participating in customer site visits and tours in the Greater Boston area. You’ll support large scale client projects and have individual ownership of small scale business unit projects. In addition to your hiring manager, you’ll also mentor under a senior engineer. Daily office attendance is expected. At the end of your internship you will have the opportunity to make a 5 to 10 minute presentation about the project/s you worked on to Wunderlich-Malec’s engineering leadership team. The term is mid-May to end of August with opportunities for assignment extension and potentially recurring.
