About The Position

The Controls Systems Engineer will be responsible for performing machine controls validation and testing activities, collecting and analyzing machine performance data, and troubleshooting CAN, Ethernet, and control system issues. This role also involves supporting software flashing, calibration, and system integration, as well as conducting field testing on off-highway/heavy equipment. The engineer will collaborate with other engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
• Experience with machine controls, CAN communication, and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
• Knowledge of machine controls systems and validation testing.
• Experience with CAN, J1939, and Ethernet communication protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control systems.
• Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Software flashing, calibration, and system integration experience.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to heavy equipment, automotive, or off-highway machines is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with validation, testing, and data analysis.
