Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
PLC programming coursework and/or experience
Ability to produce electrical drawings (AutoCAD)
2-4 Years of related experience
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
Working knowledge of software development, PLC programming, and network service
Strong analytical ability and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred
BS degree in Electrical Engineering
Computer Science coursework/experience
Project Management skills/experience
Ability to travel as business needs dictate

Responsibilities

Developing and programming control systems for testing equipment.
Troubleshooting existing equipment to support Intertek B&C test laboratories.
Project management of new equipment jobs.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to identify system components and develop design and functional specifications for automation systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and process issues.
Assist in the designing and pricing of new equipment.
Work with other team members throughout the design and fabrication process.
Assist in installation of wiring and control devices as required.
Create detailed equipment specifications/documents to guide development/programming/use.
Provide excellent customer service and project management.
Follow and enforce all safety requirements and company policies.
