About The Position

This role involves managing and programming control panels, maintaining departmental software tools, and preparing for future deep dives into PLC programming and electrical schematic documentation. The specialist will also be responsible for commissioning Edge PCs, developing a commissioning system, and managing software documentation and versions. Other assigned tasks may also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Programming Panels
• Controls Department Software Tool Upkeep and Programming (GEN2 and Plant Commissioner software’s, along with assisted tools for Tech Support)
• Deep dive into the PLC World of programming Sub System Devices (Axis Arch 2)
• Deep dive into Electrical Schematics documentation and BOM Work
• Commissioning Edge PC’s
• Develop a commissioning system
• Documentation, versioning and software management

Responsibilities

• Combing Orders to forecast upcoming Panels (CruzLite, GEN2, Mister GEN2 and ChemMon) and alert staff of these panels on the horizon
• Programming Panels (Currently under Supervision by Jordan and Justin)
• Controls Department Software Tool Upkeep and Programming (GEN2 and Plant Commissioner software’s, along with assisted tools for Tech Support)
• Deep dive into the PLC World of programming Sub System Devices (Axis Arch 2)
• Deep dive into Electrical Schematics documentation and BOM Work
• Take over commissioning Edge PC’s (in conjunction with the Software Team) and develop a commissioning system to be used by Production
• Documentation, versioning and software management
• All other tasks as assigned
