About The Position

Smart Building Technologies is seeking an early-career Controls Technician to support installation, troubleshooting, and service of building automation systems. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls, electrical troubleshooting, BAS, or a related technical field!

Requirements

• 2+ years in an industry-related field, including HVAC Systems and DDC Systems
• Deep understanding of BAS control components, control strategies, and programming.

Nice To Haves

• Tridium Certification
• Distech experience

Responsibilities

• Provide expert service to our existing EMS/BAS systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Dive into service installation projects, from sensor and relay upgrades to programming tweaks and controller replacements, always pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
• Conduct proactive preventive maintenance visits, safeguarding our systems and ensuring they operate flawlessly.
• Partner with our service team to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify service issues, ensuring seamless operations.
• Hone your programming skills to become a self-sufficient service guru, ready to handle any challenge, even when remote support isn't available.
