About The Position

We are seeking a Controls Specialist/Programmer for our Northridge, CA location. This role involves programming custom applications, managing programs from start to finish, and ensuring they meet all requirements. You will be responsible for startups and commissioning on BAS Systems, creating controls databases, and troubleshooting any system issues. A strong understanding of HVAC systems and their integration within controls is essential, as is familiarity with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet. Experience with graphical programs like Tridium front ends is also important. Our clients include cannabis greenhouses and other greenhouse facilities, and the work will involve a mix of new construction and retrofit projects.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Controls Specialist/Programmer or similar position
• Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of graphical programs such as Tridium front ends
• Acute knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within controls

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cannabis greenhouses, greenhouses, fertigation
