About The Position

This position is for a Controls Technician in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves working with Tridium N4 systems, performing point-to-point checks and commissioning, and integrating various communication protocols. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting BAS systems, communicating with clients and contractors, and understanding the installation and testing of BAS systems. Programming, troubleshooting, and rewriting sequences are also key aspects of the job. The company has been in business for over 30 years and serves a diverse clientele including hospitals, federal buildings, museums, universities, and K-12 schools, with a mix of retrofit and new construction projects.

Requirements

Tridium N4 certified or experienced
Well versed in point-to-point check-out and commissioning protocols
Knowledge of communication protocol integration: BACnet, BACtalk, Modbus, etc.
Strong ability to troubleshoot controls BAS systems
Communicate effectively and efficiently with end users, general contractors, as well as building owners
Familiarity working with databases
Fundamental understanding of installation and testing of BAS systems
Ability to program, troubleshoot, and rewrite sequences

Responsibilities
