About The Position
This is a Controls Programmer position in Bend, OR for a controls-only company founded over 25 years ago. The company serves clients in k-12 Education, Colleges & Universities, Commercial, Government, Healthcare, Industrial, and Data Centers, with a mix of Retrofit, Service, and Design-build/New Construction projects. Services include Energy Management, DDC and HVAC Services, Energy Services, Building integrations, Lighting, irrigation, Card Access, and Fire/Smoke.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Controls Specialist/Programmer or similar position
- Understanding of graphical programs such as Tridium front ends, AutoCAD, or MS Visio
- Acute knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within controls
Responsibilities
- Program custom applications from scratch or prepackaged libraries
- Communicate effectively with technicians and PMs in the field
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve any issues within systems
- Manage programs from start to finish and ensure they cover all requirements
