About The Position
We are seeking a Controls Field Programmer/Technician for our BAS Controls Contractor position in Detroit, MI. This role involves working closely with controls installations, equipment start-up and termination, and program manipulation. You will also communicate with building owners, end users, and general contractors, and collaborate within a team environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Project Engineer or Technician
- Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
- Knowledge of controls programming
- Experience rewriting sequences
- Fundamental understanding of testing building automation systems
- Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point to point check outs
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot controls BAS systems
- Rewrite sequences for controls programming
- Test building automation systems
- Perform commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts
- Work closely with controls installations and start-up/termination of equipment and programs
- Troubleshoot and manipulate current installed BAS programs
- Communicate efficiently with building owners, end users, and general contractors
- Work in a team environment
