About The Position

We are seeking a Mid-Junior to Senior level Controls Programmer with relevant schooling/training and 3-5+ years of industry experience. The role requires a Tridium AX/N4 certification and competency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, MSTP, Modbus, LON, and BACnet. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a team-player attitude, and self-motivation are essential. This position involves 25% travel and is located in Lakewood, CO. The company, founded over 35 years ago, specializes in Building Automation Systems, Preventative & Predictive Maintenance, and Facilities Maintenance & Operations, with approximately 100 employees.

Requirements

• Mid-Junior to Senior level w/ relevant schooling/training & 3-5+ years of industry experience
• Tridium AX/N4 Certified
• Competency in Networking TCP/IP, MSTP protocols, within Modbus, LON and BACnet applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Program and configure custom applications from scratch or prepackaged libraries
• Strong understanding of programming, startup, and commissioning
• Ability to perform preventative & predictive maintenance on BAS systems
• Create controls databases from scratch
• Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet and Modbus
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve any issues within systems
• Ability to analyze and read schematics for BAS/BMS Controls
• Create BAS system graphics
• Manage and oversee BAS/BMS via in-office computers
• Ability to repair and replace all parts associated to the BAS/BMS
