About The Position

The Controls Technician/Engineer will be responsible for programming and configuring custom applications from scratch or using pre-packaged libraries. This role requires a strong understanding of programming, startup, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS). The individual will create controls databases, work with BAS communication protocols (BACnet and Modbus), and troubleshoot system issues. Responsibilities also include analyzing schematics, creating BAS system graphics, managing BAS/BMS via in-office computers, and repairing/replacing BAS/BMS components.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of programming, startup, and commissioning
  • Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet and Modbus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to analyze and read schematics for BAS/BMS Controls

Responsibilities

  • Program and configure custom applications from scratch or pre-packaged libraries
