About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking a Controls Integration Consulting Manager for their Risk Advisory team. This role involves helping clients leverage technology investments to better manage compliance risks and regulatory needs. The manager will lead client engagements, build client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and mentor junior team members. A key aspect of the role is leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance client control environments and developing executive-level presentations. The position offers hybrid or remote work options, with specific in-office expectations for those within commuting distance of a Clearsulting office. Travel expectations are 20-40%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field of study.
  • 6+ years of controls integration, audit, and compliance experience.
  • Focus on supporting the development and deployment of internal controls during the implementation of major ERP (SAP, Oracle, D365) technologies and 3rd party finance applications.
  • Technical/configuration knowledge, especially for core Financial business processes, within major ERPs.
  • 1+ years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies and ability to incorporate AI into daily work and client execution.
  • Willingness to continually take on challenging projects with new or ambiguous subject matter.
  • Strong project management experience, including workplan creation, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and client communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex business concepts to an executive audience.
  • Strong leadership skills and executive presence.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Nice To Haves

  • Significant number of deployments of major ERP systems where controls integration was supported and led prior to go-live.
  • Experience with GRC platforms that support segregation of duties, sensitive access, and user provisioning/de-provisioning for ERP systems.
  • Foundational understanding of role security and authorization concepts used by ERP systems.

  • Lead controls integration engagements, helping clients leverage technology for compliance and regulatory needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead and oversee client engagements, ensuring quality delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Identify and assist in pursuing new business opportunities, including proposal preparation.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide insights on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Optimize internal processes, tools, and methodologies for service delivery and team productivity.
  • Leverage AI technologies to improve client control environments and develop AI adoption strategies.
  • Develop executive-level presentations to communicate complex issues and recommendations.
