Sustainability is not just how we do business; it is our business. This role is responsible for the installation of building automation systems. You will use a variety of hand tools, interpreting control drawings, plans, and specifications to install temperature control systems including conduit, enclosures, wiring and end devices. You will prepare for on-site installation by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, and coordinating with other trades as necessary. You will maintain your assigned stock of inventory, company equipment, and document all related activities. You will represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact and will be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location. You will keep current on Trane products concerning installation of direct digital control systems. You will also inspect and maintain your assigned vehicle and tools/equipment. This role requires a commitment to safety and accountability for company assets. Regular travel is required with occasional overnight stays, and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires.
