About The Position

The Controls Engineering Intern will assist and support Controls Engineers while learning from experienced engineers in the automation industry. As a member of a project team, the intern will work alongside Applications, Controls, Mechanical, and Build teams to support the design, build, programming, and deployment of custom automated equipment. The working term is May 2027 through August 2027. The internship is full-time, paid, and onsite at the Ogden, Utah facility. Routine technical work does not require previous experience, and training and instruction will be provided by experienced team members.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.
• Willingness to learn and ability to be flexible.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Basic proficiency in CAD.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic schematic drawing packages.
• Basic proficiency in programming languages.

Responsibilities
