Controls Engineering Intern - Summer 2026
About The Position
This internship program is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as construction management or mechanical engineering. Interns will assist engineering staff with various project tasks, including research, data compilation and evaluation, report preparation, and performing calculations. Responsibilities also include preparing technical operating procedures and manuals, creating mechanical construction drawings, and assisting with the design and development of HVAC/plumbing systems. Additionally, interns will conduct research and contact vendors for information.
Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and take direction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proactive approach/self-starter/takes initiative
- Positive attitude/team player
- Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework at an accredited college or university towards pursuing a degree in engineering or construction management
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

- AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus

Benefits
