Requirements

  • College students studying a relevant field of education (e.g., construction management, mechanical engineering, etc.)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework at an accredited college or university towards pursuing a degree in engineering or construction management
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and take direction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Candidates must have current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineering staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling and evaluation project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations
  • Performing simple calculation and data entry
  • Assist preparing technical operating procedures and manuals
  • Prepare mechanical construction drawings
  • Assist with the design and development of HVAC/plumbing systems
  • Performing research and contacting vendors for information
