About The Position

Toyota Automated Logistics is hiring a Controls Engineer to design, develop, test, program, and commission material-handling systems. The role is responsible for multiple controls projects and involves working with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and other controls technologies. The engineer works within project teams, helps develop processes and new controls techniques or equipment, solves problems for the team and customers, and supports delivery of projects that meet or exceed customer expectations. The position also involves developing customer and supplier relationships and providing technical assistance on supplier products and services. Travel of 30% to 50% may be required at times, in two-week rotations. Toyota Automated Logistics is a global partner for integrated warehouse automation, combining the talents of Bastian Solutions, Vanderlande’s warehousing business, and viastore. Employees must follow information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report suspected security incidents.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, panel design, hands-on and mechanical capabilities, and controls project management.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Communication and organization skills.
Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Master of Science in Engineering.
AutoCAD Electrical experience.
Material Handling Integration experience.
