About The Position
Catalyx is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in control systems and instrumentation. The role involves working hands-on with PLC systems and at least one of SCADA, DCS, or Data Historian systems. The engineer designs, configures, troubleshoots, and documents control systems and instrumentation, and supports system modifications, upgrades, testing, and commissioning.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant controls, automation, or instrumentation experience.
- Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with at least one of: SCADA, DCS, or Data Historian.
- Strong control system hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with instrumentation engineering and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing and updating technical/design documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and control systems.
- Design and troubleshoot SCADA, DCS, or Data Historian systems.
- Troubleshoot control system hardware and software.
- Perform engineering design and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
- Write, update, and maintain control system design and engineering documentation.
- Support system modifications, upgrades, testing, and commissioning.
