The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch, and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high-quality parts. This role involves managing deliveries to program timing milestones, providing project report outs to senior management, and offering existing program/site support, including troubleshooting. The engineer will communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all customers and plants, and provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers. The work may involve the development and testing of advanced process technology, and travel as required to support critical equipment startups. Responsibilities also include new program implementation and execution, such as SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, and equipment build/run-off and buyoff.
