About The Position
The Controls Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for creating, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture. This role involves developing sequences of operations, performing site visits for job walks, and leading the development of detailed automation designs for submittals. The engineer will ensure timely and efficient delivery of controls designs and support lead engineers. A willingness to learn programming in specific BAS lines is also required.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an applications or Controls Design Engineer
- Knowledge and Understanding of BAS Operations
Responsibilities
- Create, design, and manage BAS systems and architecture using MS Visio or AutoCAD
- Develop Sequence of Operations for each project
- Visit customer sites to perform job walks
- Lead and develop detailed automation designs and prepare them for submittals
- Ensure controls designs for the project are delivered on time and efficiently
- Help and support lead engineers
- Learn how to program in specific BAS lines
