About The Position
This position is for a Controls Account Manager in Seattle, WA, with a large Mechanical & Controls Company. The role involves understanding HVAC/Controls/BAS systems, assessing client needs, creating estimates, and selling HVAC solutions. The Account Manager will also be responsible for putting together submittal packages, preparing bids, and maintaining ongoing client relationships, all while working independently on multiple projects and achieving sales goals.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an HVAC Controls Technician with PM responsibilities is a plus OR Prior experience as a Design Engineer (3+ years)
- Overall understanding of design, installation, and testing of BAS systems
- Well versed in the HVAC/Controls/BAS Industry
Responsibilities
- Walk job sites, assess client HVAC needs, advise, and create estimates for HVAC solutions
- Sell HVAC solutions
- Put together submittal packages
- Prepare bids for clients
- Retain ongoing relationships with companies’ current clients
- Achieve sales goals
- Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of offerings
- Work independently on 1–5 projects at any given time
