About The Position

Yazaki is seeking a Controlling Specialist L1 for its Kenitra Plant 2 in Morocco. The role supports plant finance and controlling activities, including daily KPI and P&L monitoring, monthly closing and analysis, budget preparation, forecasts, and reporting. The specialist gathers and analyzes information across departments and works with the Plant Manager, management team, accounting team, business unit, and YC controlling team. The role also supports compliance with quality requirements and standards.

Requirements

Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
One year of experience or internships in a similar area.
Fluent in English.
Good knowledge of accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

Follow up daily on key performance indicators, including production Mhs, sales, stock levels, and HC.
Check the daily actual impact on P&L, including HC, PPV, stock revaluation, and small tools.
Approve shopping carts in COUPA and requests for travel or expense advances.
Prepare the SKF for the finance department, gather department SKFs, and upload them to the system for monthly closing.
Analyze P&L and check postings with the accounting team.
Report deviations against forecast and budget.
Follow the budget preparation process and deadlines for short- and long-term budgets, and analyze actual-versus-budget discrepancies.
Analyze month-end results and share them with the BU.
Share required data and analysis with the YC controlling team.
Collect and analyze data for forecast preparation, adjust figures, and approve forecast results with the Plant Manager.
Submit forecasts and prepare reports comparing forecast results with the budget and previous forecasts.
Collect and consolidate data from other departments, analyze it, and confirm the PCC with the Plant Manager.
Prepare the yearly MTP with the management team.
Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
Prepare reports requested by management, the plant, or the BU.
