About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in accounting and finance, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and analytical skills to drive financial efficiency and support informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations through financial analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience with a fully integrated ERP system; Oracle experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, key performance metrics, and financial reports.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs and inventory accounting processes.
  • Manage capital expenditures, capital project accounting, and fixed asset tracking.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance, shared services, and cross-functional teams on business initiatives and special projects.
  • Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a key financial advisor to plant leadership.
