Requirements

8–10 years of experience as a Controller or senior financial leader.
5+ years in manufacturing with hands‑on responsibility for governmental accounting and compliance.
Strong command of GAAP, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial operations.
Deep understanding of governmental accounting, FAR compliance, and audit requirements.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving.
Confident communicator across technical and non‑technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead all financial accounting, reporting, and month‑end close activities with full GAAP and regulatory compliance.
Manage governmental accounting processes, including milestone payments, FAR compliance, and agency interactions.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic growth.
Oversee cost accounting, analyze cost structures, and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
Serve as the primary contact for external audits and regulatory reviews.
Strengthen internal controls and ensure consistent compliance across financial workflows.
Partner with operations, leadership, and project teams to align financial processes with business goals.
