About The Position

Lighthouse Central Florida and Lighthouse Works are mission-driven organizations focused on empowering individuals with vision loss through life-changing services and meaningful employment. As the organizations continue to grow and evolve, they are seeking a hands-on Controller who is motivated by both the technical side of accounting and the impact that strong financial operations can have on an organization’s ability to serve its community. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate financials, enjoys working in the details, and wants to help bring structure and stability to a multi-entity environment. This is not a delegating role; this position requires a highly in-the-details approach, with direct execution and ownership of the work, and a willingness to stay closely engaged in the day-to-day functions. This is not a maintenance role. The Controller will play a key part in stabilizing and improving the accounting function during an important phase of growth. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to step into a role with real ownership and visibility, where work directly improves processes, strengthens reporting, and supports better decision-making across the organization.
