Controller

ForusNew York, NY
Onsite

About The Position

As Forus' first dedicated accounting hire, you will own how Forus closes the books, reports financials, and builds the systems and controls that strengthen its financial foundation as it scales. The foundation you build is what lets Forus scale its provider network and commercial partnerships on numbers that leadership, auditors, and partners can trust. You will run the close, own the General Ledger, manage technical accounting, implement controls, and engage directly with auditors and external partners. You will help architect the function itself: advancing its tools, designing the processes, and setting the standards that the team will inherit as it grows. This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Forus' success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.
