Requirements

• Accounting and/or Finance education and credentials.
• A mixture of public accounting experience as well as industry experience.
• Ability to think strategically, balancing big-picture vision with operational detail.
• A track record of adaptability and problem-solving across different industries or company sizes.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with multiple accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with nonprofit organizations or small/mid-sized businesses is a plus.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients in fractional, interim, and project-based roles, providing leadership in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Improve financial systems and reporting.
• Oversee monthly close processes and internal controls.
• Mentor accounting staff members.
• Support strategic planning and decision-making with accurate financial data.
• Manage projects, forecasting, and analysis to support business growth and transitions.
• Prepare for audits and assist with external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
