Controller or Finance Manager
About The Position
Franklin Pierce University (FPU) is seeking to fill an immediate vacancy within its Finance Team. The Controller or Finance Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and supervises employees responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Accounting. This role is responsible for all accounting-related activities, including budget management, managing available cash and debt obligations, overseeing annual audits, preparing financial and grants reports, preparing tax reports, and conducting financial analysis. The specific title (Controller or Finance Manager) and salary will be determined based on the candidate's supervisory experience and the relevance of their work history and professional background.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- Significant experience in accounting and financial management
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong management qualities
- Ability to communicate effectively

- Familiarity with accounting software
- Fluent use of Microsoft Office applications
