This role involves generating technical solutions for current, new, and major programs, including specifying requirements, functional decomposition, analysis, development, and testing. The engineer will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for at least one platform or application component and participate in interviews. Responsibilities include verifying controller functionality on bench and vehicle, working with Technical Review Boards and cross-functional teams to define and execute test cases, and automating system-level tests for regression testing. The position also requires troubleshooting vehicle-level integration issues (hardware, software, calibration, wiring), documenting and confirming resolution of hardware and software anomalies using RTC or similar databases, and supporting algorithm requirement development through technical reviews. Additionally, the role involves documenting algorithm functional and verification requirements, developing and reviewing I/O functional requirements and test cases, and participating in work product reviews. Support is also provided for software calibration teams, development trips, plant and field problem resolution, prototype shop, and durability cars/captured test fleets. This position operates under a Hybrid Work Policy, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with the ability to report to a local office.
