About The Position
The Controller I will oversee the financial integrity of a complex manufacturing operation, supporting plant financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls, and operational decision-making. This hands-on role will manage financial activities for a manufacturing environment with significant work-in-process and inventory while partnering closely with Operations to connect financial results to production performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of cost and managerial accounting experience in a complex discrete-manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in standard costing, BOMs, work orders, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory, absorption, and plant P&L reporting
- Demonstrated experience with SOX and other internal controls, including inventory and revenue-cycle controls
- Strong ERP and MES experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience partnering with Operations and manufacturing leadership to connect financial results with production performance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to challenge unsupported assumptions and deliver accurate, decision-useful financial analysis
Responsibilities

- Supporting capital and inventory forecasting

- Challenging assumptions when financial results are not supported by operational data
